EMERGING CHURCH SUB-GROUPS

I am considering using Pagitt's categories (as referred to in Gibbs/Bolger*, p.42) for my history of research chapter:

Sub-Group 1: Returning to the Reformation (exemplar: Mars Hill Seattle)
Sub-Group 2: Deep systemic change, yet church is central (exemplar: University Baptist Waco)
Sub-Group 3: Church is not necessarily the center of God's intentions (exemplar: Solomon's Porch Minneapolis)
Thoughts?

*Emerging Churches: Creating Christian Community in Postmodern Cultures
by Eddie Gibbs, Ryan K. Bolger
Baker Academic (November 1, 2005)

NOTE: This is a rumination ("1. The act of pondering; meditation. 2. The act or process of chewing cud." American Heritage Dictionary) in search of synergy ("1. The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.")
