ReplyDeleteI think Frank Viola's "God's Ultimate Passion" gives a gripping exposition of the answer to your question:
- the Father loves the Son and His passion is to find a bride for the Son
- just as the bride of Adam was created from flesh of his flesh and bone of his bone
- so the bride of Christ, the ecclesia, is created from spirit of His Spirit
Does this look like the components of a theologically OK answer?
